Web 3.0 (also known as Web3) is the third generation of the World Wide Web. It is meant to be decentralized, open to everyone (with a bottom-up design), and built on top of blockchain technologies and developments in the Semantic Web, which describes the web as a network of meaningfully linked data. Some technologists and journalists have contrasted it with Web 2.0, wherein they say data and content are centralized in a small group of companies sometimes referred to as “walled gardens”.
In English | Web 3.0 is the next-gen decentralized Internet, providing a more personalized and interactive experience while giving users more control over their personal data and privacy. Business Intelligence, eCommerce and Artificial Intelligence are associated with Web 2.0-3.0.
